NovaPay started with services, because that is where getting a price is hardest. A plumber, an electrician, a mover, a cleaner: none of them can put a price on a website, because it depends on the job.
That part is live now, right across New Zealand and across more than a hundred trades. Plumbing, electrical, cleaning, moving, painting, dentists, mechanics, arborists, tutors.
What's coming
•
Local shops. See what a shop near you actually has, put it in a basket and pay, in the same chat.
•
Local kitchens. A menu from the place down the road, ordered without a third app taking a cut of the bill.
They belong in the same place because they are the same problem in different clothes. A local business, a customer nearby, and a lot of small back and forth in between that neither of them wants.
What won't change
Money waits for a person. Whatever you are buying, you see the total before you pay it, and paying is something you do, not something done for you. And the money goes to the business. We don't hold it on the way through.
Already selling something?
It's the same account. If you're set up to take payments for services, you'll be able to list products or a menu without signing up for anything new.
